Solidarity with Striking Bonfield Workers

Strking Bonfied WorkersMembers of CUPE Local 4616 were forced into a defensive strike on August 1. Their employer, the Township of Bonfield, threatened to impose a contract that allowed contracting-out of public services and many concessions.

In September, the mayor fired one-third of the bargaining unit. We can’t let these bullying tactics continue. Join CUPE Ontario in solidarity actions with the 16 brave municipal workers and help Bonfield residents get their public services back.
