Nominations for the CUPE 1306 Bargaining Committee are being called just prior to the election at the March 3, 2014 General meeting.  Our current collective agreement is up for renewal in October 2014.  We are looking for an “active” and dynamic bargaining committee committed to researching what the members want (through surveys and outreach) and who are, if necessary, willing to take some bargaining education.  Talks are expected to begin in September of this year.  Please consider joining this interesting committee as a way to get more involved in YOUR union.
